What we're dealing with here is a complete lack of respect for the law.

Silly rabbit...

Posted by cthrelkeld on June 21, 2007 - 11:33 AM EST

After more than 20 years of watching this rabbit get shot down every time he tries to get a bowl of cereal, it's refreshing to know he's at least had some of that sugary goodness in the past.

Those kids in Trix commercials are jerks, who made them Cereal Commander?

Did you know that this children's cereal cartoon was rooted in the ancient story of the Trids? It's true! You see, the Trids lived in a happy village at the base of a mountain. All was well in Tridville--they had raspberry-red raspberries, lemon-yellow lemons, and...well, to be honest, the oranges were not that great, but other than that, life was wonderful until the evil Ogre showed up and claimed the mountaintop as his own. Since the lemon-yellow lemons all grew at the top of the mountain, the Trids were sad and unable to make their signature dish, Tridfruit pudding. Every time they climbed to the top of the mountain, the Ogre would laugh and kick them in the shins, causing them to fall down and roll back down to the village. The wise and helpful Rabbit, seeing this, thought to help the Trids by sneaking up to the lemon trees, stealing lemons and hopping away quickly, but the Ogre caught him. As the Ogre started his cooking fire and took down a pot in which to roast the Rabbit, the latter asked him, "Oh, Ogre, why kill me and eat me? Can you not simply kick me down the mountain, as you have done to others in the past?" The Ogre regarded the Rabbit for a moment, an evil grin on his horrible visage, and finally replied...

wait for it...

"Silly Rabbit, kicks are for Trids!"
