Fascinating, especially for amateur opera. A little work on the voice and pitch control and breathing, might have something there. It'd also be interesting to see this guy sing for more than 45 seconds, given the complete aria's nearly 4 minutes long.
I doubt 5 people in the whole room could name the piece he sang (Nessun Dorma from Puccini's Turandot), but at least they can appreciate it when they hear it. I would hope Americans could do the same, but that's probably expecting too much. Unless, of course, Paris Hilton walked into the room as he finished.
I'd find a new job first, but it's a start... awesome performance.
