Teach me that talent! I have been an at-home mom for 19 years yet I just found my daughter's missing "drawers" in MY drawer, despite all my years of experience I accidentally put them there! When you consider the number of times we put away underwear, that talent adds up to quite a timesaver. I should be thin from all the hunts I do for misplaced items, but I also like to cook and bake and too many of those hunts go right through my kitchen. Which means, I am compelled to detour for home-made cookies! Do you have a talent for resisting being distracted by delectable goodies? Oh, that question is probably moot, you're too busy keeping fit by chasing those little fellas out of mischief. You probably don't have much time to grab snacks at this point in their lives. My four children are teenagers now (had three babies in two years), so at least I am not doing that type of marathon during the school day. (After school is another story....) Hang in there good mama! It won't get easier, but it will get different and just as rewarding when you do your job as well as you do.
