Target isn't Supersizing

Posted by Laura Thomson on March 20, 2007 - 9:09 PM in

To my disappointment, I found out today that the Target on Robert C. Daniel Parkway isn't becoming a Super Target. It's so convenient to shop for groceries and my usual Target purchases all in one place, especially now that I'm dragging a baby around with me. Although I have found that at those types of stores that I buy more than I planned on because it's hard to pass up deals I see in the grocery section, or I can't pass up some cute clothing item I didn't know I needed.

This Target is getting a Starbucks (there'll also be one across the street, of course) and a Pizza Hut Express, which will make it easy to get lunch or caffeine while shopping. They're also expanding sections like electronics, which is sorely needed. Fortunately, the construction hasn't affected my shopping there, but I don't go every week so it's possible others have been bothered.

Note to baby shoppers - the 96 count box of Pampers Size 2 was mispriced today. They rang up at $19.99 instead of the $18.99 advertised price. It was an easy correction, but it was a lesson to pay close attention to the register instead of just assuming I'll get the advertised price.

i heard that afther the Augusta Store was done 2-3 years a Super Target would be built. if people email Target and called to tell them we like them to open a Super Target it could happen even the land be hind Comcast would be a good Spot for a Super Target
