Billary Clintons

Posted by mgroothand on March 13, 2007 - 12:25 PM

Already, at this early stage, Hillary Clinton seems to be the overall front runner for the Democrat's nomination for president.

The Clinton administration gave the country the only president ever impeached on grounds of personal malfeasance; the highest number of convictions and guilty pleas by friends and associates; the highest number of cabinet officials to come under criminal investigation; the highest number of witnesses to flee the country; the highest number of witnesses to die suddenly; the first president to be sued for sexual harassment; the first president accused of rape; the first First Lady to come under criminal investigation; the largest criminal plea agreement in an illegal campaign contribution case; the first president to establish a legal defense fund; the first president to be held in contempt of court; the greatest amount of illegal campaign contributions; the greatest amount of illegal campaign contributions from abroad.

The crimes and cover-ups of the Clintons are almost too numerous to chronicle in any one place – Cattlegate, Whitewater, Travelgate, abuse of the Internal Revenue Service, Troopergate, the way they ignored the growing threat of Islamo-fascist terrorism to focus law enforcement on the bogus threat of the religious right, Pardongate, the way they sold national security secrets for campaign cash.

And they, the democrats, want to send this happy couple back to the White House?

I think that if they continue to let Hillary talk, she'll eventually implode on herself. I read some sections of a book that was writen by a secret service agent that served under the Clinton administration (his name escapes me at the moment) and he spoke about how horrible she treated everyone from the White Staff to the Secret Service around her. I would think that it's a very bad idea to mistreat the people that are there to protect you and take care of you. You don't poop where you eat. I not only think she would make an awful president but appears to just already be an awful person.

It's far too early to decide whom to vote for, but never too early to decide whom to vote against. Hillary is, by far, #1 on the AGAINST list for me. No deja vu all over again, please!

You have some nerve, putting down an administration that has done far less than what our current adminstration has done. We were lied to so we could invade Iraq. Now, the company getting the big bucks, Halibertan, is moving its headquarters to the United Arab Emeries. Can you smell a fish when it is right in your face?

If Bush the First had finished the job on Saddam, W would not have had to. Fact: Saddam used WMD to kill his own people. There was no lie that Saddam had WMD. The world is a far better place without that dangerous madman. We can thank our president for that. Also, if Clinton had taken care of Osama when he had the chances, we'd not have had 9-11. Our current president, though far from perfect, has had to spend far too much time, effort, and energy cleaning up the messes from the mistakes of prior administrations.

Halliburton (check your spelling) moved to where their jobs are and will continue to pay taxes to the US. Emeries are something you file your nails with. The United Arab Emirates on the other hand are in the Mid-East. If the fish smells to high heaven it is likely not fresh, flip-flopped a lot when landed and had strong flavors of democrat tendencies. It should be a candidate for the catch-and-release program.

Hillary lost me when she said years ago, "I guess I could have stayed home and baked cookies..." and it's been downhill from there. With those words, she disrespected every woman that made the choice to stay home and give her children her own wisdom, her own attention, her own listening ears, her own hugs, her own nurturing. I respect other women's choice to work outside the home, but my observation is there are men that bully their wives into working for a paycheck and then their children suffer from various degrees of subtle or not-so-subtle neglect. The children are smothered with material things and become spoiled and unrealistic as well as materialistic. Food addiction or other addictions become substitutes for the lack of attention at home. Their reasonable demands for attention become excuses for their parents to medicate with Ritalin so the parents can focus on their own selfish interests. If there are three children in a family and two are obese and one is anorexic, doesn't that seem to be a scream for love and attention? Does one family really have to have two cars, a pickup truck, AND a Corvette? Oh, let's not forget the more than once yearly expensive travel vacations, the occasional cruise and the summer condo. Then you have the nerve to disrespect and judge the woman that foregoes material things to stay home with her children? Hillary's priorities have never been mine. I'd much rather stay home and "bake cookies" until it's time to vote, then I'm voting for the candidates that put family priorities and values first. I'm really tired of hearing one of Hillary's favorite phrases: "It takes a village to raise children." I can see some wisdom in that, BUT let's get this straight: It takes RESPONSIBLE PARENTS to raise children! The village only has a supportive role and should be plan B, not plan A. If Hillary expects me to respect her and her choices, she's way overdue respecting mine. I don't believe that is going to happen, so she's never getting my vote. I don't want (Pres.?) Bill Clinton to be the "First Lady" either. Has anyone thought about that? He should be banned from the premises. I don't understand why he wasn't banned immediately after it was determined he lied to Congress. I was learning about Barak Obama, but became discouraged when I was told he is a smoker. He's young enough to have known that smoking is harmful to your health and others' before he started, so how smart or altruistic can he be if he started smoking anyway? It's also an expensive habit, especially when you look beyond the immediate costs to the health costs for yourself and anyone who is affected by your secondhand smoke down the line. I am trying to learn more about him anyway, but I would be a lot happier if someone could correct me if I'm wrong and he is actually not a smoker. Anyone out there know for sure?

I am a bit discouraged to read that someone above posted that they would not vote for Obama because he possibly smokes. Are you kidding me?!?! We are now choosing our presidents because of whether or not they smoke???? That is about the dumbest reason I can think of for determining who you want to lead your nation. I mean after all, shouldn't it be about his values regarding serious issues in the U.S.??? Pretty soon we will be picking the president on whether or not he/she drinks an alcoholic beverage as well. Give me a break!

I didn't vote for Hillary the first two times and I won't this time and Obama is not an option either. Have you listened to him?
