INSIDE JAMES BROWN ARENA -- With a request to turn off all cell phones and beepers, a hush has fallen over the James Brown Arena as fans, dignitaries, celebrities and mourners view family members processing by Mr. Brown's coffin.

Gentle, somber piano music is being piped in, as family, the Rev. Al Sharpton, the Rev. Jesse Jackson, the Rev. Larry Fryer and others pause, then pass by, the body of the Godfather of Soul.

I am wondering why too. Is the arena management aware of this problem? Meanwhile, I have been glued to CNN all day. I would also like to take this opportunity to thank CNN for all the coverage which they are giving Mr. Brown. I think its outstanding. James Brown deserves ALL the attention and recognition which he is getting right now.

Much of the available Internet bandwidth at the James Brown Arena is being used by the Richmond County Sheriff's Office for security purposes. Adding to the problem are numerous media outlets vying to get their pictures and text out to the rest of the world over limited bandwidth.

The Richmond County Sheriff's Office should be on their own separate bandwidth. Why isn't this the case?

Where is Tomi Rae and James Jr.? I don't see them at the funeral which is currently broadcasting live on CNN.

Ladydeeny: From our local TV telecasts here in Augusta, I saw that Tomi Rae is seated at the end of a front row with the family. I am not sure where James Jr. is.
