THE REAL KING IS DEAD.MR. BROWN DID NOT STEAL ANYONE ELSE MUSIC. I LOVED YOU JAMES BROWN. IN YOUR OWN WAY YOU TRIED TO ALERT THE YOUTH AND THE WORLD ABOUT PROBLEMS.

The elders say that many die during this time of Yule. This is the same time that I lost my husband. He loved James Brown as much as I did. I never personally met him, but, I do remember the first time my father took me to the Regal Theatre in Chicago, Illinois to a concert in which James Brown was one of the great entertainers. I had butterflies in my stomach the whole time I was there and after that one time, I would go to see him with my friends whenever he came to Chicago. That is one of the fondest memories that I have etched in my heart. I tried to cry and his demise made me more aware of loosing my husband on the 27th of December in 2002. My tears would not flow, for the music he left behind still fills my heart with pride, joy and gives me good memories of a time past and that will last forever, just like his life's escapades whether good or bad. Mr. James Brown in my book was human and I love him as if he was my own Godfather. I know that his job was done here at this time and in my book, he did a good job.
