“United 93” is a rare Hollywood movie that lets the event make the moral judgment.

Does the art industry depend on police to keep them safe so they can make “art” deploring the police state? They do. Can sycophants create their own narcissists? They do. Movie critics have good reason to hate a movie that ridicules them, but rottentomatoes.com still gave “Art School Confidential” an overall 35% approval rating. It gives critics 0% approval.
A really good, quirky movie.

As of this morning, The da Vinci Code has 17% overall critical approval at rottentomatoes.com.
Most reviews are of this nature: “it’s not very good — long (2hr.32min.) and mostly inert.”
“Monster-in-Law,” a truly awful movie, also got 17%.
