I am a true believer in God. I will not go see the movie "The Da Vinci Code" nor will I read the book. The only reason they made this movie is to make money.
If you want to read a book GO and GET THE BIBLE!!!!!!. Find in the bible John 3:16 and read it. In fact here is what it says---For God So Love The World He Gave His Only Begotten Son.
The movie and the book is for the anti-christ.
What has gone wrong with this country??. Get the Ten Commandments and prayer back in school. If you are not a christian you soul is doomed to suffer.

I completely agree with you that the 10 commandments should be put in the schools. And you are right, they made the movie to make money because IT IS A MOVIE. Not once do the filmmakers claim that the movie is real. It is a movie just like any other. Don't take it so seriously. I believe that if you are going to say that this movie is the "anti-christ", then you should be boycotting all movies with killing, robbing, and other actions that go against the 10 commandments. And this would be quite absurd. Quit looking for something to complain about and take it like it is... a fictional movie. Nothing else.

"The only reason they made this movie is to make money."

Duh. Why else would they have made the movie?

I completely agree. If someone made a movie about someone you loved, and it was filled with lies, would you think it was entertainment? I dont agree with those that think this is entertainment. I also dont need to see the movie to know what the movie is about. I dont have to drink poison to know what poison is.Those who love Jesus arent fooled into thinking its just a movie. What we watch and what we read matters.

I saw the movie and I was entertained greatly. I am a God-fearing woman who understands the difference between fact and fiction. Just because I read the book and saw the movie does not make me the anti-Christ.

Ditto.

The only reason they made the movie was to make money? And the other reason would be what?

Just a work of fiction that actually was entertaining. Go see it and judge for yourself.

In regards to all of your responses I believe that the big issue about the movie and the book was already stated in the (word of god) and we as Christan's know what is fact because we have the the Bible to assure us of what's happening we must be alert of our surroundings for these are the last and evil days and things will be said to deceive people of the truth, and having a better understanding of the word we have a more knowledge about whats to come and our main job is to "GO about the world and preach so that they all may know that Jesus is lord and no man may come to the farther but through the lord Jesus Christ".Brothers and sisters keep this in mind and may it give you peace don't concern yourselves with things like this movie or books our concern should be focused on Jesus and saving soles for the kingdom of God. We have no control over the things that are going to happen stay focused.

The movie and the book is just for entertainment ...nothing more..nothing less...yes it was made to make money too ...just like all the other movies out there ...it is not meant to change your mind about anything ....and if it does ...then you might need to strengthen your religion some what ...so if you don’t want to see it for any reason then don’t ...no one have a gun to your head to go read of see it ....it is a free choice right ?...and the choice is yours ..Remember the only two things that you have to do in life is …pay taxes and death.

The Da Vinci code was an awesome STORY. No one needs to believe it, especially as it was not intended to be read as fact. No one, the author, the director, or the fans, is trying to replace or refute the Bible or the Christian religion. It's just a story.
