Need school supplies? Several local retailers have sales this week to restock your child’s school supplies for the semester.

Here’s the tip of the day:

Office Max:

Office Max is giving customers 15 off all items they can fit in the brown paper bag inserted in Sunday’s issue of The Augusta Chronicle. The promotion includes all printer accessories. The sale lasts until Saturday.

If you didn’t get a copy of Sunday’s newspaper, extra papers are for sale at The Augusta Chronicle’s office.

Staples:

Staples is presenting a “Dollar Days” sale. Items ranging from writing pads, magnetic dry erase boards, markers, paper clips and pens are priced at $1. Quantities are limited, so the sale is available while supplies last. Limit two per customer. Many other items are on sale for Buy One, Get one Free or Buy Two, Get one Free. The sale lasts until Saturday.

Office Depot:

Office Depot has a Buy One, Get one Free and Buy Two, Get one Free sale this week. Sale items include binders, stacking crates, notebook filler paper, plastic pocket insertable dividers and large, stackable file tote boxes. The sale ends Saturday.

Where have you found great bargains on school supplies? Write in to The Pinch to let me know.

Office Depot also has an extra 25% off any red tag items in the store. There was quite a bit of variety in the sale items - from pens & pencils to CD's and labels. I personally picked up a $75 Wenger "briefcase/portfolio" for $37 and they had Ofc Depot brand glue sticks 4-pack for 25 cents (I nabbed a lot of these for my son's Pre-K class and the teacher was grateful!)
