Talk to us: Election Day chat schedule

The Augusta Chronicle will host a live election day chat beginning at noon and ending at 2 a.m., by which time we hope to know who will lead the country for the next four years. The chat will feature a new guest commentator every hour who will answer questions, comments and offer observations about this historic presidential election. The guests will range from current and former local Democratic and Republican Party officials to students from area schools and colleges who have strong views about the election.

So, stay up late with us and share your thoughts and opinions about the election. Below are the scheduled guests:

Noon: Lowell Greenbaum, chairman of the Richmond County Democratic Party;

1 p.m.: Dave Barbee, District 10 chairman of the Georgia Republican Party and former chairman of the Richmond County Republican Party;

2 p.m.: Paine College student Jarvis Ellis; Augusta college students Amanda Jones and Najhee Jackson; Medical College of Georgia students Jackson Elam and Michael Vaughan;

3 p.m.: Barry Paschal, publisher of the Columbia County News-Times and Coco Rubio, entrepreneur and owner of the Soul Bar on Broad Street;

4 p.m.: Martha Ginn, political science professor at Augusta state University and advisor to the school's political science club;

5 p.m.: Augusta Chronicle Teen Board membersĀ  Lauren Noto, freshman at Greenbrier High School; Amber Forbes, senior at Harlem High School; Shamari Sylvan, senior at John S. Davidson Fine Arts Magnet School; Ambrielle Smith, freshman at the Academy of Richmond County;

6 p.m.: Dennis Saylor, chairman of the Aiken County Republican Party;

7 p.m.: Alvin Starks, former chairman of the Columbia County Republican Party;

8 p.m.: John Brecht, chairman of the Aiken County Democratic Party;

9 p.m.: Helen Blocker-Adams, business owner, former Augusta mayoral candidate and an Independent;

10 p.m.: Roscoe Williams, executive assistant to the president of Paine College;

11 p.m.: Mike Ryan, editorial page editor for The Augusta Chronicle;

Midnight: Mallory Millender, Paine College journalism professor and community activist;

1 a.m.: Dr. Greenbaum and Mr. Barbee
