Big Weekend Sales

Are you in the mood for shopping? If you need to finish your back-to-school shopping or simply need new clothes, several retail stores are holding big weekend sales. You’ll find sale prices at Macy’s, J.C. Penney, Kohl’s and Sears.

Here’s the tip of the day:

Check out these weekend sales: 

Macy’s: 

Shop Preview Day - Friday, Sept. 5, from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m.

(All customers will receive sales prices today – one day early from tomorrow’s official sale.) 

One Day Sale - Saturday, Sept. 6, from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m.

(*The store has a coupon for $10 off purchases of $25 or more until 1 p.m. Also, Macy’s has morning specials until 1 p.m.)

J.C. Penney: 

Big Fall Blitz – Sale lasts from Thursday, Sept. 4 to Tuesday, Sept. 9

(Many items are 40 to 50 percent off their regular price. The sales paper includes 25 to 60 percent off coupons on jewelry.)

Kohl’s:

Power Pricing Sale – Two day sale, Friday and Saturday, Sept. 5-6 from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.

(Many items are 40 to 50 percent off their regular price. Customers can also save 60 to 70 percent on clearance merchandise.)

Sears:

Sale prices last from Sunday, Sept. 7 to Saturday, Sept. 13

(Customers can find savings, including: 40 percent off clothing items, 30 to 40 percent off handbags and 70 percent off gold jewelry. *Sears also has a sale on all Bridgestone tires.)
