Whether traveling for business or a family vacation, sometimes renting a car is the best option. If you need to rent a vehicle, Enterprise Rent-A-Car is offering a 50 percent weekend discount, just in time for Labor Day. 

Here’s the tip of the day:

Enterprise-Rent-A-Car has dropped its weekend rates by 50 percent to help consumers save on travel costs, according to Enterprise’s corporate office. The savings apply to regular weekend rates on fuel-efficient and larger vehicles from Friday to Monday.

For customers who drive a large truck or SUV around town, renting a fuel-efficient car is a perfect way to save money on gas and reduce your travel expenses.

The promotion lasts until the end of the year, according to Amy Bradshaw at Fleishman-Hillard, a marketing firm representing Enterprise Rent-A-Car. 

Here are some sample rental prices for the discount special:

Weekend of September 19-22: $15.67 for economy size car, $20.42 for full size vehicle

Airport location for same weekend: $22.61 for economy, $31.61 for full size
