Waiting out the rain
Tiger Woods is doing it again. He's making putt after clutch putt to turn back that murderer's row of contenders -- Bob May, Scott Dunlap, Greg Chalmers, J.P. Hayes and Thomson's own Franklin Langham.
For the second consecutive day, weather has forced the television networks to show archive replays of past PGA Championships while the current PGA Championship is on hold.
Surprise, they don't seem to have anything in the queue that doesn't involved Tiger Woods winning.
Today it's 2000 Valhalla and the duel with May. It's brilliant stuff, but I've memorized every shot already. Pretty sure Tiger pulls it out again in the end.
Sadly, this makes you wonder whether or not CBS will draw better ratings during the few hours that Tiger has been making 8-year-old magic than it will when J.B. Holmes and Charlie Wi finally tee off later tonight (or tomorrow the way these thunder cells keep coming).
