I don't know what it is about photographers, but we're always taking pictures of each other at sporting events.  It's part of being able to say 'I was there,' I guess.

Each photographer has his or her favorite spots to go looking for a standalone photo. Mine usually involve parks, because, well, I'm going to admit it, kids are really really really photogenic.
