Check out this month's Good Housekeeping -- I'm in there, on the very last page in a column called Blessings. I'm very excited!
I had gotten a few emails from people who read the column, but I hadn't been able to find the magazine in town. I finally saw a hard copy on Saturday at Publix, and then came home to discover my copy from the magazine had come in the mail as well.
My mom (proudly) showed her cashier at the grocers yesterday when she came across the magazine. "This is my daughter," she exclaimed. The cashier wanted to know where I lived.
"Right here in town," said my mom.
"Wow," said the woman, "I figured she had to live up in New York or somethin'."
Nope, just finding adventure right here in the good ol' South.
S: Can you meet us there at 11:45?
Me: I think so. That just means going straight from the grocery store. But it's cold enough, the milk won't go bad.
S: You could always bring a cooler to stick stuff in.
Me: Yeah, but then I'd feel like a grown-up.
S: Um, I've got some news for you...
