Turmoil in Nigeria causes the price of crude oil to rise dramatically. The next day the price of gasoline goes up 10 cents. How is that possible?
There is only one plausible explanation - Santa Claus!
The exciting Tour de Georgia returned to Augusta Tuesday, featuring such world-famous cyclists as… er… well, Lance Armstrong was busy this year.
To make the streets safe for the athletes, the forces of evil blocked off a large section of downtown Augusta. The result was a Tour de Augusta for morning commuters.
Here a few things that crossed my mind this weekend. They don't really deserve their own posts so I combined them. Call it my "blog briefs"
Today, I am going to speak out in support of cheerleaders. This is a day I thought would never come.

As an avid geek, I couldn't resist posting this. Enjoy!
The Master's Tournament comes to an end today and I for one am glad. My job keeps me extra busy during this time and while I have nothing against extra work, I have problems with the extra madness this week brings. I am not big on taking medicine, but this time of year I keep a bottle of Aleve in my pocket to help with my Masters Migraines.
Today should a holiday...a FEDERAL freakin' holiday. Today, Hugh M. Hefner, one of the most polarizing figures in modern American history celebrates his 80th birthday. In 1953 Hefner published his first issue of Playboy magazine and created a whole new lifestyle in the process. Hate him or love him, you can't deny his impact on society.
Visiting Augusta for the week? Got a question about the town? Curious about the Masters Tournament? We’ll try to answer your questions.
Ten-digit dialing isn't easy to grasp. If you have a question, post it here and Business reporter Tony Lombardo will give you the answer.

While this has been an item covered in the national media, for some reason it’s stayed out of the hottest spotlight. Details seem to be sketchy, but if the allegations are true then this is sickening.
